You speak faster than you type. Today we’re happy to share an initial preview of Fluss (flow) — an inline dictation tool designed for busy healthcare professionals.
Fluss fills forms, writes referrals, and captures interview notes directly inside your electronic medical record, without switching between applications. If there’s a form and a field to fill, Fluss can fill it.
The aim of Fluss is simple: give healthcare providers back the time they currently spend on documentation and form-filling.
Fluss understands over 30 languages, including German, French, Italian, and English. What makes it powerful is that it understands your form’s context — if you’re filling in a date field, Fluss fills it in as a date; if you’re filling in a number field, it fills it in as a number instead of plain text.
You can also correct sentences mid-speech. Just speak naturally, ask Fluss to correct what you said, and it will correct it instantly. Since Fluss dictates as you speak, you can also ask it to format your text — no need to touch your mouse or keyboard.
Fluss is built for healthcare, and that means it’s built with data safety and privacy in mind from the start. All data is processed within Switzerland, and we never store audio or transcribed text.
Fluss comes as a browser extension and works in all Chromium-based browsers, across all Chrome-supported devices and electronic medical records.
Fluss is now available as a research preview for selected healthcare providers, for testing and feedback.
